By setting the File Explorer to All Files, it's easy to just select a non-image file and use that as a profile picture. One can even go as far as uploading the "image". In my test I used a 16.2MB .mkv file.
Steps to reproduce
Open User Settings
Click to change profile picture.
Change the file filter to "All Files"
Select your small non-image file.
Actual:
This results in succesfully changing the profile picture to my mkv file.
Expected:
I expect another check for if it's an image file once the file has been selected; and to tell me what I had selected does not in fact have an image file format.
