Description

The Inventory view has several dropdowns that will re-render the page and load new data on user input. There needs to be clear instructions this is how the UI operates, and an announcement to screen readers that new data has been loaded. This could be a toast message or updated text string. This issue will require design support. Screenshot attached below.

Steps to recreate

  1. Open Inventory map view
  2. Turn on a screen reader of your choice
  3. Click the dropdown for Hosts and change it to Kubernetes Clusters
  4. Verify no announcement was made or any "Go" button pressed to initiate the change.

Environment

  • MacOS
  • Safari
