When scrolling horizontally to view a nested span in the APM UI Waterfall component a large white space appears while scrolling. Scrolling up seems to cause it to disappear again.

Found in Chrome and Firefox.

Reproduce

  • Find a long enough trace that horizontally scrolling will be necessary
  • Resize the browser window so its narrower so the trace won't need to be that long
  • Find a nested span and scroll right. Certain spans will cause a white space to appear.
