As we can see in the attached screenshot, the slider on the left side of the interface does not include the color which has been placed in the middle of the color scale, it only displays a gradient from the starting color to the ending one.

the problem is that the gradient bar behind the circles doesn't have the mid-color, we can fix that.
we should try to split the gradient bar into more pieces to make them looks a bit more aligned with the color on the side

The color mapping UI has been changed (the "slider" is now horizontal), and this is not anymore an issue
