Summary

The monitoring.ui.metricbeat.index config is not working. Despite being marked as deprecated, some customers still rely on it to manually define the index pattern that the SM UI (alerts included) will query.

Acceptance Criteria

  • When monitoring.ui.metricbeat.index is specified, the SM should utilize the configured index in its queries.

@smith here is the issue I mentioned, not sure how we want to prioritize. It should be smallish.
