In Discover, if you click a field from the list of fields on the left, you get a Quick Count of the top 5 terms. Can this be made to be a configurable quantity other than 5?

Thanks a lot for engaging with the Kibana community. We evaluated and discussed that feature and unfortunately - though it's a valid enhancement request - decided, that we consider it might be too specific for putting it into the Kibana core. The problem with advanced settings is, that it's hard to find a line when to stop without having every single value/string in Kibana as a setting. After some discussions we decided, that we don't want to make this a setting, also since the Quick Count is anyway just calculated over the first x documents, and for most people not a representative distribution of their values.

Since we are trying to keep the open issues to a manageable count, we will be closing this issue, since there are no plans on our side to address it in the future. Thanks again for your contribution.
