Undeprecate Pipes? #671

Metro / WSIT / Webservices / SOAP code had deprecated the Pipe concept almost as long as Tube exists. It doesn't seem Pipes are ever going to actually go away, and everything has always kept using Pipes.

Maybe it's time to undeprecate Pipes?

I'd rather see them finally removed instead. Also note that this is not the project being responsible for them nor defining them

If Pipes would be finally removed, that would obviously be fine as well, but do you think that will ever happen?

I tried to use Tubes for several things in GlassFish, but Metro or WSIT or WebServices wanted to use Pipes, so I couldn't change over to Tubes.
