Missing About Information #23
Comments
It’s pretty self explanatory, it generates proxies from Digitalial Ocean. You can set how many you want and then destroy them also when you are done. I figured it all out from the videos and documentation. |
Even this response this weak. What does that mean? What does this mean
for the end-user? What is the end-user able to do with this program?
“Generate proxies” doesn’t mean anything by itself.

If the idea of generating your own proxies via Digital Ocean and an API key is too hard of a concept to grasp then maybe you don't need this tool. No one forced you to use this FREE program.....Read, Learn, and take some time with it to understand how it works. Its literally 3 steps: Set amount of proxies you want, select the server you want, hit Create. Done. |
Learn how to write a simple sentence in English that describes what your
project does. That’s a very basic skill you need to learn, even more
important than coding— communicating with people. But it’s definitely
something that coders struggle with so you’re not alone.
Like I said I use tons of proxies everyday for my web apps that I developed
years ago that scrape thousands of pages on the Internet, and they’re
running on digital ocean servers. So I thought this could somehow be
related or useful but I can’t understand the definition of what you’re
describing because I need more words.
Anyway good luck with your stuff. ;)

First off I am not the developer so I don’t know what you are attacking someone like me. Second you came in with attitude for no reason for a product that you didn’t even pay for or help develop. How many more words does it take to say it Creates Proxies....that’s all it does makes proxies. You make them, you delete them when done, period. I hope that simple sentence makes more sense for you now. Have a blessed day. |
I’m not attacking you so I hope you don’t feel that way. I am being
critical. But I am intending to help that’s why I submitted an issue and
I’m trying to help by bettering the project by asking a useful question and
suggesting a very useful addition and overall development practice which
will help get more users and thus more developers— and therefore further
the project.
It makes it so you can create a proxy? Such as a web proxy? Does it
allocate a new IP address with digital ocean? Could you (or anyone) give a
use case for this? For example if it’s what I’m thinking you can create a
proxy so it masks your origin development server IP address from public?
Finally do you know the associated costs from DO?
By the way I went to a four-year university for programming and was taught
these are really good things to include right up front it helps put the
audience mind where the programmer’s mind is so they can Immediately jump
in and begin helping instead of spending lots of time searching/looking at
code/watching a video only to still not understand when a simple few
sentences of explanation can be presented at the beginning . I don’t put
my developments on github so I can’t show from personal record but I can
suggest some great examples I pulled from my watchlist if it would help. (
by the way these are great examples but you could get really really far
with just three or four good sentences)

Thanks bro I know you’re not the developer but if you weren’t on the team
before you are now so welcome :)

I have no idea what this software does. There is no explanation anywhere what it does and I even started watching the video and there’s no explanation there what it does. This should be the first thing, a clear and descriptive couple of sentences about what this software does. And yes I know what a proxy is I subscribe to 2 different proxy services $200/Mo and deal with thousands of proxies every day and I’ve used digital ocean servers for years. but I have no idea based on your description what your software does.
