Question about Imputed_trait_data.csv

Hi! Thanks for providing your code and data -- this is super helpful! Just wanted to clarify -- in the Imputed_trait_data.csv, is the column called "accepted_bin" the code for the species name from TRY ("AccSpeciesID" in data downloaded from TRY)? Thanks!

Nope -- these codes are different from the TRY codes, they are just randomly assigned. This was done because some of the datasets still have data sharing restrictions, and the raw data is included alongside the imputed data for the analysis. Let me know if there's a specific question you have, or a specific part of the pipeline you're interested in. I realize it's a bit inconvenient, but it was the best solution I could come up with....

Ah, I see. I was hoping to use some of your imputed trait values to fill in some holes I have in a trait database I'm using, but I'm not sure how to match the species names to your data. I guess it might not be possible then?
