we need to investigate this problem and look for a possible solution for this ring like artefact created due to humvi settings

I'm not sure this is fixable by tweaking the HumVI settings: it's a very
bright and very blue object, that I would bet looks odd no matter what
color representation you use (as long as that representation is also very
effective at bringing out low surface brightness blue features...)

you can see some other versions of color images made/extracted by the volunteers. perhaps, its also to do with the choice of filters as you can see in that discussion. humvi seems to make the image redder towards the center whereas looking at the sdss and the CADC color image, it seems it should be possible to make the colors look uniform radially. i wonder if experimenting with any of the control parameters whether we can fix this problem and make it look similar to the sdss image?

We can try, but these images illustrate nicely that you can adjust the
image visualization to reject this one object, but at the expense of being
able to see faint blue features at high contrast elsewhere in the image.
I'd say this image was a great example of why we need to provide the
ability to change the view as needed, for a small number of problem cases -
as was done here.
