Will you put some statements on false positives mainly due to stacking filters images and colorizing:
I tagged some QSO as #falsepositive as they are looking 'ringed'
example
ASW0002bjo QSO
ASW000296w spiral
ASW0006ktg star
ASW0005u1n QSO color space
ASW0008x6x overlap
ASW00023e3 QSO
ASW0001rcc QSO

to whom is this question addressed to? i don't see corresponding color images made with a different tool / different combination of filters which demonstrates that these are indeed artifacts coming from the way these images were generated within SW. could you please show those? its difficult to know otherwise. thanks.

As example, You have posted a DS9 view of ASW0001rcc in http://talk.spacewarps.org/#/boards/BSW0000004/discussions/DSW00007j7

i see - so you are asking me to check if they belong to this category. this is something that we haven't explored yet but plan to check in the near future. i don't know at the moment what fraction falls under this category. i will check these examples later or feel free to do it yourself, if you want. thanks for listing them here.
