SFTPGo 2.2.2 - FTP MGET

Hello,

we have a customer who wants to fetch files from a directory via FTP from our SFTPGo 2.2.2.
He uses the MGET (MGET *.xml) command. Unfortunately nothing happens, no files are transferred.
With SFTP it works, the customer just unfortunately can't use SFTP..
Why does it not work with FTP?

We are using sFTPGo in Docker.

Hi,

wildcard are not supported, RFC 3659 explicitly forbids them, this should be implemented client side:

Clients that desire some form of pattern matching functionality must
obtain a listing of the relevant directory, or directories, and
implement their own file name selection procedures.

Only today you are the second one who asks for info to answer your customers ... I answer everyone quickly but this is an hobby project for me ... if donations don't increase, you will soon have no one answering you or implementing the features for your customers
