This first issue reiterates the core mission of the Data Privacy Vocabulary (DPV) to provide the necessary terms to represent 'processing' of personal data. This involves:

  • which personal data categories
  • for what purpose
  • undergoing what kinds of processing
  • by who/which data controller
  • involving who/which recipients and their roles
  • justified using what legal basis
  • implemented using what/which technical and organisational measures
