Hi,
your dperson/samba docker image is quite popular on DockerHub (pulls 50M+) so it is quite influential.

But it is 3 years old ... thus full of security holes.

Could you please rebuild the image?

BDW: I can see a lot of PR and unresponded issues? Do you need help to work on it, I can help?

I recommend moving to servercontainers/samba, which is what I've just done. Not only is this not updated anymore, but there seems to be a lot of bugs with it. I kept having an issue where shares that were writeable had the directory ownership changed to systemd-journal:systemd-journal. Was very annoying.

You can use https://github.com/dockur/samba which is fully up to date!
