Language of dotnet error messages

How to set language of error messages coming from dotnet project system?

I have Visual Studio Code display language set to English and DOTNET_CLI_UI_LANGUAGE environment variable set to en, but error messages on Output panel localized to OS display language instead.

For example from executing dotnet build I get following error:

C:\Program Files\dotnet\sdk\8.0.303\Sdks\Microsoft.Build.Tasks.Git\build\Microsoft.Build.Tasks.Git.targets(25,5): error : Error reading git repository information: Unsupported repository extension 'objectformat'. Only noop, preciousObjects, partialclone, worktreeConfig are supported.

But on Output panel I get:

[Error - 0:00:00 AM] [LanguageServerProjectSystem] Error while loading x:\xxx.csproj: Error reading git repository information: Unsupported repository extension 'objectformat'. Only noop, preciousObjects, partialclone, worktreeConfig are supported.

where "Error reading git repository information: Unsupported repository extension 'objectformat'. Only noop, preciousObjects, partialclone, worktreeConfig are supported." is localized to OS display language.
