Some ideas...

Display the tags in a paged table (-> datatable ?) or add a limited tag display (eg : only the 10 most used) with a combo that lets us chose other tags to exclude / include.
Allow the search results to appear on the top of the table, just under the category combo, instead of the bottom.
AJAX search on compatible browsers : displaying results without reloading the entire page ?
