When I open https://therapi-json-rpc-demo.appspot.com/jsonrpc/apidoc I get a 500 - Server error.

Thanks for reporting this. Looks like the app engine deployment is broken. In the short term, I'll remove that link from the README. Longer term, perhaps a docker image would be a good replacement?
