Custom syntax highlighting is not available. It's selected as text. But sometimes the user may want to use custom syntax highlighting. Also it would be good if the GUI version is also available for linux based operating systems.

Added python syntax highlighting check out the branch ( :v ) Syntax highlighting . I have never worked with PyQt5 before so things might take time.

As for the releases for gnu/linux based system , I will release them but currently there is no point in releasing as linux users can invoke the main script ( Auto_pastebin.py ) from terminal (which was the intention behind this project ) . I will release packages windows and debian based system after I implement keeping this application in the system try .
