Better control of the busy is needed. I need to be able to:

  • Control if the busy cursor is shown or not
  • Control (on each request) which cursor manager to use. This is essential for any AIR application that uses more than one window.

Sounds like a plan. I have no idea when I can find the time to implement this, but I will surely share my solution once I do.
