Add progress display (as an option, maybe?) into consume_fasta functions

The progressie display of how many reads were loaded in was mostly removed due to the challenges of making callbacks from C++ to Python. Might be nice to have an intermediate option, e.g. hardcoded into C++ with a flag? Also, we could do something like estimate progress through the file based on file size. Tricky!
