Import multiple GPX into routes

Following on from this series of posts... The ability to mass-import (many GPX inside a ZIP) tracks into Cruiser's "Collection" so that they are immediately available for search, load and navigation.

As the current method of loading a GPX is a one-at-a-time process, this proposal would require the user to accept/know that each GPX going in would be calculated according to the active routing at that time. This would match the import of "externally planned trips" into something like what the Favorites currently offer; easy import of many items.

Your gpx example contains waypoints wpt and a route rte.
It does not contain a track trk.

An automatic import order would be track trk > route rte > waypoints wpt.

@devemux86 I did say "not tracks" in my other post, that's why I originally called it a "route file". If the title of this thread is misleading, let's change it.

That's the file as it comes out of BaseCamp - the list of points is as decribed in that topic, 15 entries but I always knew the file was unnecessarily large.

Incidentally, I have never used tracks unless I was copying a route lifted off the internet which sometimes has the track plus waypoints (allowing me to faithfully trace the route into BaseCamp). I've yet to record a ride and use a track as a follow-up, eg: "where the heck was that nice corner facing the sun?".

The file was unnecessarily large.

Garmin adds all calculated track points in the routepoints extension.
Basecamp on demand can generate and export the track as well.
Locus at import reads the extension and exports the track as well.
Without turninstructions, this is ultimately of little use.
Adding turninstructions so still requires a recalculation.
