The current UI for this add-on is quite simple and easy to use. I would love to provide a better UI for the users.

Current UI can be seen by installing the add-on and also from the screenshots in the AMO - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/hydrator/

Is there any preference for the UI? Like how should it look?

That is precisely what I want designers to explore in this task. This is more of a designing task rather than HTML+CSS. If you want to do the HTML+CSS then I will update you when we have a design.
