Is it possible to import assets (e.g. images) in code dirs?

I've enjoyed being able to import assets that are colocated with code in other frameworks such as next.

1. The primary advantage is that the type system can check that a file exists, rather than finding out at runtime that a static asset was moved or renamed.
2. The secondary advantage is that one-off assets that support a single component can "live" within the component directory, co-locating them together and making them easier to reason about and move/refactor.

Is this something that is supported in Fresh?
