On an organisation's front page, events are listed with text "Applications Closed" when the date is outside the application date range.
The subtext underneath an event / program name is: Applications Close [date]
However, if applications have not yet opened, then the only text an applicant sees is Applications Close [date] with an "Applications Closed" instead of an Apply button.
If applications are not yet open, the subtext underneath an event / program name should read: Applications Open [date]
