Create a Norman Dead layout?

I'd really like to use Norman, but the Workman Dead layout looks really handy as a programmer. Is there any interest in creating a dead variant?

That depends - if you're just seeing if I'm open to accepting a pull request, then probably yes. If you think I'm going to create a dead layout for all the operating systems, I'll probably never get around to doing that.

More the former :) Is it ok if the PR is only for macOS, as that's the only OS I use?

One OS is fine. Got to start somewhere.

If you're really going to do this, I think the easiest way is to download Ukelele, import the Norman layout, shift things around to make a Dead version, re-export that, then PR it.

BTW, it's ok if you never make the PR. Using Ukelele is easy; deciding on where to place keycaps and making a good case for their placement is way hard.
