For pages with footnotes annotation (http://www.paulgraham.com/before.html,...), it would be great if the output is using markdown footnotes syntax:

From rendered HTML:

[num]
---
[num] footnote text

To Markdown:

[^num]
---
[^num]: footnote text.

Is this even possible?
