Folder Naming should offer to use human-readable Post-Title and Post-ID #199
Comments
If possible also parse the Title of the post and allow users to add that Title to the folder where the pictures are saved. |
Wow. This feature would be REALLY USEFUL !!! This are the folder names the images are stored in. Utterly useless!! Every post containing images has a very useful header. The name of the gallery. Examples: Why not use those post-titles to name the folders where images are stored in? The way it is currently done is very bad. |
+100 from me. That feature would be REALLY helpful. Current folder naming is horrible - there is SO MUCH MORE info in each post you can extract. AT LEAST the title would be real sweet. |
Please add this feature. I manually rename folders by looking at the website titles. This is such a hassle. |
VRipper allows to "Append post id to download folder" (see screenshot). This sounds like exactly like what I was looking for - each post in a thread has a human READABLE id, like #719 (see Screenshot).
However what does VRipper append? The internal post-id which is a very cryptic long number like: "123456789". I don't mind ALSO having that number in the name of my download folder - STILL, I would love to also see the #719 somewhere, so I know with a single glance which POST I already downloaded. Just having "123456789" tells me NOTHING.
Please fix this feature.
