decent suggestion. To create a full project, might be overkill, but all that is needed to rebuild libdds.a is Bo Haglund's original source (zip file) and some simple instructions on how to unpack the zip file and issue the make command.
I will add it to my To Do list.
If you know of someone who is doing a port and needs said DDS file soonest, I can bump the priority.

libdds is already a github project. Please let me know if you need a link. I've seen it included as a subproject of other bridge repos.
