In the Berlin site, a WESKIT is provided with a GUI via (https://weskit.bihealth.org). Users log in to the GUI and can have 2 workflows executed on different data sets. GUI makes the request to WESKIT and WESKIT sends a job to the SLURM cluster. The user accounts are created in WESKIT; WESKIT uses the user accounts to execute jobs on the cluster. The WESKIT workflows are saved on the result volume in the name of the user. The result volume is stored on the user VM. Users can log in to the VM and then access the results.

  • M2.1: Provide platform with simple test workflow and perform demonstration for single user.
  • M2.2: Integrate demo workflows into WESKIT and provide demo data that is stored in the cluster.
  • M2.3: Register external users for using the platform and make sure that they can successfully log in to the GUI and the user VM.
  • M2.4: Provide instructions for users on how to use the demo workflows with the demo data.
  • M2.5: At least two users successfully submit the workflows to the demo data and can then access the results of the workflows.
  • M2.6: Provide technical documentation.
  • M2.7: Create SOP template for running an SPE with WESKIT and SLURM in the de.NBI cloud
