Check for updates multiple times a day - Enhancement request

Hi, another enhancement request.

Would it be possible to have a check for updates a couple times per day instead of one? I have an AM check for things that were published later in the day or first thing in the morning, but I would also like to be able to capture any updates that were published after the AM check.

As it is now, if I check at 9:00 AM, I update at just after 9:00, and an update gets pushed out at 9:05 AM, I don't know about it for 24 hours.
