Restart page numbering

I was wondering if there is a way to restart page numbering with a new section using officer/officedown?

Use case: our reports typically have front matter numbered with roman numerals. At the start of the content, the page numbering resumes as Arabic numbers restarting at "1."

Currently I use this to format the page numbers in the footer:

Currently I go into the word doc afterwards and manually update the Arabic page number to restart at 1.
