I'm sorry but I don't understand exactly what the problem is.
Can you please state your problem with step-by-step instructions for how to reproduce the problem?
For example please explain how you are creating the node (what command or code you are using), what attributes you are changing and what is shown (with a screen-shot if possible).
What version of Maya are you using?
If you get an error in your Script Editor or Output Window or Terminal (on Linux), please include the error text as well.
Unfortunately I am unable to make changes to the project right now.
I would recommend using the "Horizontal" "Fit Resolution Gate" mode, as this is the default value, and it works correctly.
Personally (for my work) I always use and recommend the "Horizontal" value, because it is easiest to understand and very straight-forward to use. Simply change your camera aperture values for your camera format, and everything will work.
I'll keep this issue open, and I'll look at the issue when I have the ability to address the issue.
