Job Role: The Data Analyst will be pivotal in leveraging comprehensive analytics to guide our business decisions. This role requires a blend of technical prowess, market understanding, strategic mindset, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize advanced statistical and predictive analytics to model consumer behaviors and market trends, enhancing our strategic planning and competitive edge.
  • Develop and maintain robust SQL databases and integrate these systems with SharePoint and Azure for streamlined data workflows.
  • Create compelling, insightful visualizations and dashboards using Tableau or Power BI, making complex data accessible and actionable for strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze ecommerce metrics to optimize our online presence and improve key performance indicators such as conversion rates, customer lifetime value, and cart abandonment rates.
  • Use Python for data manipulation, automation, and advanced data modeling to support predictive analytics and machine learning projects.
  • Demonstrate initiative by proactively identifying problems and leading projects to improve processes and solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate analytics into all facets of the business, ensuring data-driven decisions that align with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite, with specific skills in leveraging SharePoint and Microsoft Azure for data management and collaborative projects.
  • Strong programming skills with proficiency in Python, including experience with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
  • Strong foundation in SQL and experience managing large-scale databases.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
  • Solid understanding of ecommerce analytics, with experience in analyzing digital sales data.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 1 year of relevant analytical experience in ecommerce or wholesale distribution; recent graduates with relevant coursework or internships are also encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage timelines and deliverables proactively.
  • Solution-oriented mindset with a knack for innovative thinking and problem-solving.
