This option is to use a system similar to the unit-tests to emulate a connection to APIC and K8's API while still using a real neo4j database. This wouldn't need to rely on any pre-existing infrastructure and can run from anywhere as long as the database is available. Another good outcome of this option is that we can write several complex topologies in code to test various different scenarios without ever having to set up an actual real topology.
