The idea of having Dask-adjacent post on the Dask blog came up in the last monthly community meeting. When thinking of interesting projects in the space, msgspec came up. @jcrist do you think having a short blog post on msgspec in the Dask blog makes sense? Do you have any interest in authoring such a post?
This idea came up in the September 2022 monthly community meeting. Opening an issue so we don't loose track of the idea

I've been meaning to do a larger writeup, and would be happy to write something for the dask blog. However, I'm not sure what content would be relevant for the dask blog readers? I originally wrote msgspec with the intent of using it to replace dask's existing serialization mechanism. Since that doesn't seem likely to happen in the near future, its relevance to dask seems tenuous.
Did you (or whoever suggested a msgspec post) have thoughts on why such a blogpost would be relevant, and what content might be included?
