White balance data for Nikon Z6III #17076
Comments
Thanks, but we really need the output of either the .sh or the .py script. P.S. The data you shared does seem valid, just that yet another script is needed to parse it... |
Let's try this: can you run |
Ok, here are all the files associate with exiftool -w txt *.nef darktable-whitebalance-20240701.tar.gz Please let me know if I need try to fire up my python environment, which was a bit of a mess the last time I messed with it. (I have switched to using Julia for most of my development.) Rick Chapman |
Thanks, seems this can work. There's no "Flash" preset? I see it in the manual here: https://onlinemanual.nikonimglib.com/z6III/en/white_balance_39.html |
Sorry to make extra work for you. I thought the flash mode would be a variable color depending on flash intensity. I have enclosed the outputs of ExifTool for the flash images. Rick |
Thanks. Perhaps missing one ( |
I think this is a complete set for the flash mode Rick |
Just in case here is the data for my Z6III unit. |
Thanks anyway, we have all the data we need. |
Does it mean we can expect support for the Z6iii very soon? I'm currently using the 4.8.1. |
I took a full sequence of white balance data for the Nikon Z6III. I don't know shell programming, and I could not get the extract_wb_from_images.sh script to work under zsh on a Mac running Somoma 14.5. I ran the ExifTool and produced the enclosed text file.
If this is not adequate, I am happy to do something else, if you can provide some advice on what you need.
