Hope this isn't a complete noob question, but wanted to give it a go anyway. Using Ubuntu 20.04 (no Windows) on Lenovo T480.
First off, many thanks for this. I ran the automated configuration script and it worked flawlessly. I can use the SIM via the external enclosure without hitch, using my carrier's APN data.
The problem comes after trying to swap the modem from the enclosure to the M.2 slot in the ThinkPad. It won't recognise even after a few minutes of waiting.
Is there a way to pop the the EM7455 back into the M.2 slot and use normally, or does this require the external enclosure indefinitely? I understand the script changes all the data and COM ports, but not sure where to go from here.
Any help would be appreciated and apologies if I've overlooked anything.
