My company in Switzerland is using the MC7304 with a special undocumented firmware for data and voice. The modem is end of life for long time - there is no support available. Data is on 4G, during voice calls the modem falls back to 3.5G. The SIM card is capable of 4G. Seemingly the same firmware does 4G, VoLTE, voice in Germany with a German SIM card as visible in log files. I have the firmware in an spk file format. My idea is to patch the parameters of the German MNO into the section of the Swiss provider Sunrise.
What is the best way to go? Is there any other possibility?
Is it possible to revert the spk file into the source code?
