WOW... finally got connection to happen.
My posts always ends up so long it seems, Long story short i had to make the registration happen with the qmicli manually. Not knowing what I should be seeing or having someone to hold my hand doing this,,,didnt know what I should be seeing,,as much as have messed with ethernet and wifi setups.
( I assumed the whole shabang may be able to be done via NetworkManager gui)
After having gotten registered sim with the qmicli command run. Then made a new connection in NetworkManager Gui,,and this did in fact create the route and getting an ip,, from Visible
Question: the signal quailty: 19% seems very low for signal strength. This area is known for marginal cell coverage,but about 5 years ago,,there is a tower only about one mile away. Think going to try a cheap outside 4g bullet atenna to run into server in basement. We are right next to a bluff,,and the 'in the knows 'claims this is bad radio signal scenario
