confused with pcv.morphology.fill_segments function

In this function, when stem_objects is not None, two observations would be saved.

                        label=(ids[1:]-1).tolist())

However it seems that both the area for stem and area for leaf are the same, is it designed to be like this?

Also, the filled_img is initially a label image (2d), and is then converted to an RGB image (3d). Can we also output the original 2d label image?
