For Version 2 development we need a command line switch to control which GUI to use, this should be left in place for v2.0 as a fall back in case there are major bugs in v2.0, and removed for v2.1 release.

  • When running v2 GUI should launch with web GUI and port 8138 open using new web server, port 8139 old web server
  • When running v1 GUI should launch with tkinter GUI and port 8138 open using new web server, port 8139 old web server
