HTML files on XProc output ports should be given an "html" file extension #72

I've seen several people downloading the report zip, then renaming the report xml to html before opening it in a browser.

  • either; detect the xhtml namespace in the root element of the document on the output port
  • or; check the media-type on the p:output XProc element

...then change the file extension to ".html" instead of ".xml" for those documents.

F2F discussion: This is probably better handled at the XProc level. HTML reports can be serialized within XProc to an output path given as an option.

OK so all the output ports with px:media-type="application/vnd.pipeline.report+xml" should be changed into options.

This issue should be moved to pipeline-scripts.
