This doesn't work with the approach used in the current prototype, as described here:
https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-sync-media-pub/2021Nov/0002.html

It may cause issues when dealing with text wth ruby or bidi.

Adjusting the search index generation algorithm to also list block-level content could help. Right now it just lists the text nodes individually.

I have no idea what it looks like to type ruby or bidi text into a search field, that may bring up additional issues.
