Experimental column search (Dagster+)

We're exploring enhancements to the existing asset search experience like adding column search and filter. This feature is now available in experimental mode to Dagster+ users. To request access for your organization, comment below!

Once access is granted, you can toggle column search on / off in User Settings > Experimental column search.

These improvements are powered by new logic that relies on a backend search engine, so when the user setting flag is turned on, you may see behavioral differences when using other asset search features. Column search may also be temporarily unavailable as we launch updates. If you are seeing search downtime or undesirable behavior, you can toggle column search off in user settings.

Something that would make the searching (and "views") more useful would to be able to filter by asset keys. E.g. we set our assets representing dbt models to be <dbt project name>/<database>/<schema>/<model name>. So it would be nice to be able to apply a filter to filter for only assets in one particular asset prefix, or a set of asset prefixes.
