Linux: Html select tag option menu is not positioned underneath

PHP Desktop version: 72.1
OS: Linux Mint 19 Tara/Cinnamon 3.8.9

The option menu does not position it self underneath the select field, when clicking it.

Instead it opens outside the window:

It's an issue in upstream CEF. The solution for now is to replace these <select> elements with javascript based alternatives. There are libraries that can replace all <select> elements on a page automatically and thus fix the problem. Try this search: https://www.google.com/search?q=jquery+select+replacement .
