Jupiter à danser, et va à deux hommes et une dame.
Au début, un des hommes va devant et la dame va derrière lui et l’autre homme va derrière la dame, allant en file droite espacés les uns des autres de trois pas.
Maintenant note qu’ils font tous ensemble en file trois temps de mouvement[1] en mesure de quadernaria, faisant lesdits trois temps avec trois pas et un frapamento un peu sur le côté[2] en commençant avec le pied gauche. Et puis tous les trois ensemble font une volta tonda de bassadanza en leur même place, laquelle consiste en deux pas simples et une reprise de deux temps. Et toute cette partie susdite se fait deux fois de concert.
Note ensuite que l’homme qui est devant se retourne en arrière avec un double en commençant du pied droit en prenant la main droite de la dame et en allant à sa place et en même temps ladite dame va à la place dudit homme avec un double sur le pied droit, s’arrêtant. Puis les deux hommes se déplacent en allant l’un vers l’autre avec un double sur le pied gauche et en se prenant par la main gauche, s’échangeant de place si ce n’est que celui qui arrive derrière fait une mezzavolta, s’arrêtant. Et celui qui est au milieu et la dame qui est devant se déplacent tous les deux en faisant, la dame, un double vers l’arrière avec le pied droit en touchant la main droite de l’homme du milieu et se retrouvant à sa place du début ; et en même temps l’homme du milieu passe devant la dame avec un double sur le pied droit en touchant la main droite de la dame, se retrouvant devant. Et faisant tous les trois ensemble deux pas simples et un double en avant en file en commençant avec le pied gauche. Et cette partie se fait deux fois [f.18v], ce qui consiste en dix temps de bassadanza, à savoir cinq par fois, se retrouvant tous les trois à leur place du début à la dernière fois.
Note qu’ensuite on fait neuf temps de piva[3], se jetant tous sur le pied droit en faisant, l’homme de devant, une mezzavolta dans le vide[4] et faisant deux doubles rapides sur le pied gauche en allant par le milieu de la dame et de l’homme qui était derrière, et en même temps ladite dame et l’homme de derrière vont en avant à savoir, la dame, avec deux doubles et l’homme avec quatre doubles sur le pied gauche ; et se retrouvant derrière, faisant, le premier homme, une mezzavolta sur le côté gauche en se jetant sur le pied droit droit, suivant l’autre homme avec deux doubles sur le pied gauche, et en même temps la dame fait une mezzavolta sur le côté gauche en se jetant sur le pied droit, retournant en arrière par le milieu des hommes avec deux doubles sur le pied gauche, faisant encore une autre mezzavolta similaire à l’autre, suivant l’homme qui lui est devant avec deux autres doubles sur ledit pied et restant au milieu desdits hommes ; te rappelant que l’homme dit avant va en avant de ladite dame avec deux autres doubles, se retrouvant devant[5] ; et l’homme qui était derrière, et qui se retrouve à présent devant, fait une mezzavolta sur le côté gauche en se jetant sur le pied droit et retournant en arrière avec deux doubles sur le pied gauche par le milieu dudit homme et de ladite dame, faisant une mezzavolta sur le côté gauche en se jetant sur le pied droit, s’arrêtant à sa place de derrière. Et note que toute cette partie susdite se fait de cette manière, à savoir que l’homme de devant fait deux doubles en arrière et quatre en avant, et la dame en fait deux en avant et deux en arrière et deux en avant, et l’homme de derrière en fait quatre en avant et deux en arrière, tous les faisant en même temps et en passant chacun une fois au milieu des deux autres, se retrouvant à leur place du début.
Note ensuite qu’on fait quatre temps de saltarello et deux de bassadanza, à savoir ils font tous ensemble en file deux temps de saltarello en avant en commençant avec le pied gauche, puis la dame s’arrête. Et l’homme qui est devant fait une mezzavolta au second battement[6] dudit saltarello en faisant les deux autres vers l’arrière, un au même niveau que la main droite de la dame, et l’autre [f.19r] à la place du compagnon, et en même temps son compagnon en fait deux en avant, un au même niveau que la main gauche de la dame et l’autre à la place de son compagnon, et s’arrêtant les deux hommes. Puis la dame fait une volta tonda de bassadanza, en commençant avec le pied droit. Et cette partie se fait deux fois, chacun se retrouvant à sa place comme au début.
Note que le premier homme fait une mezzavolta sur le côté droit, touchant la main droite de la dame et la dame la sienne avec une révérence sur le pied gauche. Puis la dame se tourne sur le côté droit, touchant la main de l’homme de derrière et l’homme la sienne de la même manière qu’elle fit avec l’autre. Puis l’homme de devant et ladite dame font une mezzavolta retournant à leur place de début. Et c’est la fin.

[3] Ceci tombe juste si on compte le saut jeté (butandose) pour un temps. Chaque danseur faisant ainsi 6 doubles rapides (piva) + 3 sauts jetés dont deux sont combinés à une mezzavolta et un de face, suivant la séquence suivante : premier homme : saut tourné, 2 piva, saut tourné, quatre piva, saut de face (pour ce dernier voir note 4 ci-après. Dame : saut de face, 2 piva, saut tourné, 2 piva, saut tourné. Deuxième homme : saut de face, 4 piva, saut tourné, 2 piva, saut tourné.
[4] [Danse] : signifie qu’elle ne compte pas pour un temps de piva et qu’en outre elle se fait sur le pied droit : elle se fait pendant ce saut de début pour le premier homme.
[5] [Danse] : pour tomber juste avec les 9 temps de piva (mais aussi avec les pieds), cet homme devrait en principe, en s’arrêtant, se jeter sur le pied droit (qui compte pour un temps).
