Having trouble to migrate from rollup with rollup-plugin-chrome-extension to a setup with vite

Sorry for bothering, but I am completely lost on how to migrate an existing rollup Chrome Extension to this solution.

The Extension in Question is fairly Complex and uses a Popup as well as a content script to inject iFrames into all websites.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and I can try to provide as much Information as possible, but I am somewhat restricted since the Extension is build privately.
