For now, open an App in a new Tab is only possible by clicking with Ctrl pressed.
Normally, it should be possible to do it by center click or right click.
Center click is not working.
Right click doesn't show App links as links but as images. So it proposes to Save or View the image, but not open the link in a new tab.

Hello @PetiPandaRou,

Thank you for your submission. It should work the way you describe. Can you tell us more about your setup (Browser and OS) ?

I checked it on :

  • Firefox 24.1.1 ESR on my professional desktop Windows 7 Enterprise.
  • Firefox 39.0 on my mobile phone Android 5.1.1
  • Firefox 38.0 on my personal laptop Ubuntu 15.04

Hello @PetiPandaRou,

On my instance, middle-click and Ctrl-right click are working as expected : opening app in a new tab.

Looking at the HTML source of the page, I see that platform applications are embedded in a A that is missing on other applications. Adding this tag may fix your right click issue (linking to /apps/application-slug/ )

@clochix
The behaviour is weired, as the new tab is popped by javascript and not by the browser. I get a warning of firefox telling me that my.cozy.domain.tld is trying to open the a new tab.
I think a proper link should be used (if possible) on each app icon. But maybe is is not possible to do such with the iframe thing for the apps

Another user is requesting this feature: “en terme de sémantique la logique voudrait que ce soit un lien qui entoure l'image, ce qui permet de faire un clic droit pour l'ouvrir dans un nouvel onglet”
