Nicer mobile view (page tools and logo)?

Really nice looking theme on the desktop, however judging by the demo.sprintdoc.de the mobile view is a bit broken:

1. The sidebar hamburger button occupies a lot of space at the top with no content besides it (I guess this is where the site logo should go?
2. The site logo is not fully shown (see also 1.).
3. The page tools menu is showing up as a full sized drop-down box and becomes a huge popup with radio-buttons. It is also not intuitive that the first empty row with radio-button can be used to exit the menu.

For 1 and 2 I agree that the mobile header could be more compact. Unlike as in #17 I would not introduce any config here, but would make it more compact by default.

I don't think 3. is still the case. We seem to have changed this to make use of the default floating menu we also use on the desktop.

@splitbrain unless there have been very recent changes, then the floating menu is only used within the "tablet" breakpoints. For smaller sizes one still has to use the drop-down box.

Ah I see. Yeah for the actual mobile view I would suggest

• remeove the tagline
• hide the name of the logged in person and only show the account logo
• move logo and title (shorten when needed) between hamburger and and account
• move up the TOC and Tag plugin

Many modern Android GUIs use a slide in menu from the left side that is triggered by a button or by actually sliding it. I think I have also seen that being used on websites / progressive webapps.

The mobile header is still a mess)) Should we suggest further? Is there a chance it will be worked on?
