Can't delete dances

Attempted to delete a few dances today and I just get an error. This issue persists across dances.

I wonder if the dances were in a program? That's the main thing that blocks deletion of dances.

We don't really know what to do in that situation:

As a dance-inputter, I want to be able to delete my dances, because they are mine.
As a program author, I want my program to not magically lose dances because I linked to someone else's dance.

Would it be possible in this case to replace the dance in those programs with private copies? Similar to Bob pulling his dances.
